A Woodcarver’s Memory will feature works from Berry’s
enduring career as a woodcarver. During the reception, MAC’s
Arts Industry Director, Diane Williams, who is also a master storyteller,
will be weaving
the tale of Mr. Berry’s life.
His work will be on exhibit at the Mississippi Craft Center the entire
month of January.
MAC presented Berry with the Governor’s Award for “Artist
Achievement” in 2001, and he created two of the awards presented
to other year’s recipients.
