About the Artist

Born in l951 in Endicott, New York, Kristy Higby received her BFA in Studio Art/Fibers from the University of South Carolina and has taught art since 1977. Higby creates artists’ books and short documentaries. Her commitment to art comes from a need to celebrate the individual voice and share a truth.
