For Educators - Teach Metals

This section offers a variety of activities, resources and suggestions for connecting the artists and artwork in Tradition/Innovation to your students, whether you will visit the exhibit in your community, or will experience Tradition/Innovation as a virtual exhibit. Activities and connections are primarily designed for 5th – 12th grades.

Whether you are looking for material for one classroom presentation, or to fully integrate into your semester; whether you have never done a hands-on classroom art activity, have never worked with metals before, or are a professional arts educator with a full student studio at your disposal, you will find information here you can use! This menu allows you to select those activities which are most meaningful for your students, connect to your other arts education and cross-curricular activities, and which you have the time to get involved in!
